Opening its doors in July 2016, Allumer Beauty Salon is the Singapore branch of this famed Japanese beauty and skincare brand. Founder Manami Ichikawa has actually positioned Allumer Beauty Salon to cater to both women and men. They offer a decent range of beauty treatments, including facials, massage, nail care, and eyelash treatments. The 5 unique treatments here include; Beaute Revive Facial (uses stem cells & herbs); Thalasso Therapy Treatment (uses stem cells & seaweed); LED Collagen Machine (uses red LED lights); Momihogushi Intestinal Massage Therapy; and Queen Phyto Cell Treatment.

Allumer Beauty Salon is distinctly homely, like a quaint, zen Japanese home. Think ample wooden features, tatami mats, artwork of plants, gold folding screens, and Japanese pottery. The therapists here specialise in either facial treatments, massage, or nails, and they're mostly Japanese. It seems they were handpicked by the owner due to their years of experience and skill, as some of them have serviced Japanese celebrities. Communication is slightly difficult though, have experienced firsthand that not everyone is fluent in English. Simple English words are fine, though they have 1 staff that can speak Mandarin, and 1 staff that speaks Korean.

I like that service at Allumer Beauty Salon is attentive, professional, and courteous, befitting the Japanese culture. No hard sell here. Allumer Beauty Salon also retails an in-house range of skincare and beauty products, and even the complimentary green tea after a treatment is an in-house brand of tea. However, prices are comparatively more expensive than other places.
